A CELEBRATION OF LIFE

Chapel Hill, NC-Loved ones gathered to remember the life of Ira Yarmolenko on Sunday, June 14th. The gathering provided a time for family and friends to remember Ira in their own personal special way.
Ira brightened up a room with her smile. She was loving, caring, compassionate, nurturing and passionate about life in every respect. She lived and love life to its fullest extent. Ira was truly an inspIRAtion to all that knew her. Jake Jacoby and CJ Suitt, members of sacrificalPoets performed spoken word writings in Ira's memory - Ira was a member of the sacrificalPoet team.
A slide show of pictures of Ira were displayed with meaningful songs playing in the background. Ira's favorite flowers, "wild flowers" decorated the room along with balloons of her favorite colors, yellow and orange.
Everyone in attendance wrote on several balloons writing very personal and endearing messages to Ira and released them up to the heavens. We all know that Ira is shining down on each of us - she is our guardian angel and bright shining star. Many in attendance went to Ira's graveside to place flowers and to have a special moment of peac with her in conclusion of the celebration.
